Hi Beams at night are a real pet peeve of mine. If you are too lazy to turn your lights off as a courtesy signal to come back over, I’m too lazy to flash my clearance lights as a thank you. And those jokers who flash high beams three or four times...day or night... I just shake my head. If your truck does not allow the lights to be turned off... don’t do anything. I can see the end of my trailer.

For me also poorly adjusted headlights, and fog ( driving lights ?) Never have i witnessed so many blind drivers. Now these stupid LED light bars. I get by well with to properly aimed headlights.

Some drivers agree with me on this and some don't.

One of my biggest pet peeves is the driver you pass, obviously much faster than him but also heavier, and so when you climb a seemingly endless hill they pass you with their highly governed trucks and then you leapfrog back ahead of them as soon as the road levels out.

Do this a few DOZEN times up 81 north and southbound and you're ready to push him off the road. There have been many times when a faster truck passed me and struggled up a hill and rather than pass him just for him to pass me again I kicked off the cruise for just a few seconds allowing him to remain in front of me.

But I don't expect anyone else to actually use their brains like that.

If you're crawling up a hill going 55mph sorry bud you're getting passed, even if i know you can go 100mph on flat. You can easily make up time by going fast. I can't. Dropping my speed below 60 every hill is impacting my time. In some states like WV & VA that would mean 400miles of hills and mountains and I'm not going slow the whole way because some fast trucks are heavy

I have a light bar, and use it to see the moose where I run. Seen 8 in a 10 mile stretch on hwy 17 in northern Ontario just two days ago. Probably seen 16 in a 430 mile stretch from Sault Ste Marie to Thunder Bay. Run the north you’ll understand why we have them. Hit a moose you’ll understand even better.

I am not going to slow to a crawl just so you don't have to pass me again.
If you are fast enough and have enough flat road to get far enough ahead of me it won't happen.
If you are barely faster than me on the flat but a lot slower on the hills, well, hello frog.
