What the media calls “peaceful protest”..
I love how you keep saying in your posts that he should’ve turned around. Don’t know if you’ve been on an interstate lately but that’s easier said than done most of the time. If he had managed to turn it around, you know he would’ve been charged with illegal uturn and going the wrong way on an interstate. Big trucks/trailers don’t just turn on a dime and zip on back the way they came.

If he can't turn around on a 5 lane interstate, he has no business driving. We aren't talking about a two lane road in flyover country. We're talking about a major metropolitan area.

Dude, every day you are on here quoting this law and reg and that one, down to the letter of the law. Make up your mind already. I've never liked your attitude which is more against logic than for in this industry, where there are many gray areas we have to navigate.

You weren't there. None of us were. You're the leading cheerleader on what everyone always should've done. Get a life. Do you even drive a truck?

Oh I will. Not before I point out what a paradox you are though. I was giving you an opportunity to explain yourself but there's a typical troll response. Spoken like a true 7th grader. You're probably the one stupid ### that was laying in the road forcing the guy to stop.

There's a currently occurring "protest" that you can watch live. Notice the blatant disregard of law while there's zero enforcement of the law by police.

If we run a truck with a cracked windshield or a chafed airline we're treated like a criminal while these fools run loose in the streets.

ok, did you even see any of the video?

if you did, then you saw a whole lotta cars making u-turns, and going up an on ramp (the wrong way), to get off the highway.

ok...so now, a truck, loaded, maybe 80,000 pds, going at maybe 50 to 65 or up to 70 mph, has to come to a stop, and make a u-turn, and hope and pray, that several 4 wheelers or even another 18 wheeler, isn;t hammering behind hm, and they all slam into the fuel truck...??

can you say "explosions, masses of people severely burnt or burnt to death"?

    now what...??

is he even more or less guilty of doing that?

bottom line, you fail to realize, the highway was SUPPOSED to be closed.

people are NOT ALLOWED on the highways (as pedestrians, protesters, rioters, etc, etc.

    I saw it.

Kinda amazing the cars could manage to figure out how to get off the expressway, but the professional driver couldn't.

And yes the protesters should not have been there. Doesn't change the fact he chose to drive through them instead of turning around, like every other vehicle managed to do.

are you even a driver (of big rigs, yourself?)

it takes quite a bit of room to turn an 18 wheeler around, or do you think that an 18 wheeler can stop on a dime and turn on a dime?
