My boss uses the Flying J Tab bank. I have a card for anything for the truck. To me the card is a pain. But it works for him and hes wife.

simplyred1962 Betty Boop, One Bodacious Babe!!!
1)they send a paper statement to our house
2)we can call from our cells, and
3)we can go on-line and get a breakdown of everything, transfer funds from one account to another within TAB for no charge, or for a nominal fee, transfer funds to an account at another bank.
The third one by far is my favorite, as we don't get home often enough to check the paper statements consistently. Also, at any Flying J , we can get a printout of our bank statement free of charge.
We have a checking, savings, and credit/debit card through TAB.
Works well for us.

I have a Navy Federal act as well (been a member since 1991 and have not stepped inside a branch since 1995) use them all the time. I also use Chase for normal day to day banking. It does not really matter anymore who you bank with. I have the Chase app on my iphone to do most of what I need to do plus the regular internet to do the rest. (The only thing I cant do on line is add money to my Roth IRA, have to do that in person) Just make sure you get a debit/check card and limit your use of atms (the fees will eat you up) and you should be fine. These days you can even get bonus points using debit/check cards. (I get airline miles when using my chase card. an extra couple miles here and there add up at the end of the month) -
How about one of the online banks? I have my regular bank account for all my home stuff with US Bank, then I also have an account with ING Direct, every week they take a direct deposit transfer from US Bank of a set amount into my ING Direct savings and checking accounts. I have a debit card for the checking account, as long as it has $5.00 in it it's earning interest. You have to have a regaular bank to have the initial access from, but once the account is up and running you can have your paychecks direct deposited into the ING account and never mess with your regular account. Everything is available online, which is the key thing, you have to have internet access all the time if you want to access the account to check balance, transfer money, etc.. But, since it pays interest with no real minimun balance I like it.

Hey REDD how do the ATM fees fall in the tax deductable area?
Im confused or never knew but how are ATM fees tax deductible? -
You have to have access to your money, but the job is the reason you use them. -
I have USBank. They are not everywhere. 26 States I think. And I have to say that they have good customer service. On the phone or in person.

I think after my research and some suggestions Im gonna go with Chase. They seem to be just about everywhere enough to work for me. Thanks for the help
WREN Thanks this. -
Sounds like you have made your decision but I will thow my opinion in here too. I use Bank of America and have never had any issues with them. I know several people that use Chase bank and they never have any complaints either though.
