One of the things my hubby and I like to do on our travels is to visit casinos.

We know from our experiences that some casinos are more truck-friendly than others. By truck-friendly, I mean that they have truck parking that is either within close walking distance, or they will send a (prompt) employee to pick you up in a shuttle.

Also, we know that some casinos (Sky City Casino, just west of Albuquerque, NM on the I-40) are VERY friendly, in that they give free play to truckers every day, $10 daily and $25 four times a month. They also have a drawing for a brand new Kenworth going on right now.)

Have any of you truckers had good or bad experiences with various casinos across the country? Would love to hear from you!

The casino in Temecula, Ca. Pauma.. is VERY truck friendly. I park there about once a month when i visit my uncle. The people are friendly. All they ask is that you check in with the c-store manager when you park. Hope you get by there, and have fun.

I used to live in San Diego, way back when Casino Pauma was a few machines in the back of the gas station there, even before their tent! If we ever get that way we'll stop.

Have you been to the Biloxi/Tunica casinos lately? I'm looking forward to going there, and AC too, now that we're doing 48 rather than 11 western.

The Casino in Temecula, Ca. is Pechanga. Pauma is south and east, on Hwy 76, which isn't truck friendly.

Unless you like sharp as heck turns, and straight pulls. Narrow as heck 2 lane road. Lots of wrecks on that road. Anytime my Aunt, Uncle and i go down to Pauma, there has always been at least 1 or 2 wrecks on that road. :biggrin_2556: :biggrin_2556:

It's been awhile since I've been there, buy Whiskey Petes at the Nevada KA border was impressive. More trucker friendly than say a pilot, since they actually have PARKING.

The casinos in Wendover NV are very trucker friendly. Free coffee and free showers.
