Trucker gets 11 years in prison for fatal I-40 wreck

That is the difference between criminal justice in the south and the other states. It just seems to me the south is more lenient on most infractions. I read in the local paper where judges give judicial diversion to 80% of the people arrested. I would think police in the south would get upset with so many of those arrested getting off on their charges. Our small town paper publishes all the arrests in the county and the judicial disposition of those arrested.

not to mention the idiot millis driver that ran into a broken down 4 wheeler in broad, clear daylight at 65mph a few years ago....and he was was watching porno films on his laptop at the time.

 

The accident that spyder2012 referred to was on the NY Thruway near Rochester. It even made it into the Wall Street Journal. a public relations nightmare.
