I can hear the Bossman...
"You hit what?!"
"A plane"
"Are you high?" -
Boss: "are you high"..
driver: "uh well boss, if you think that 3,00 feet is high, then uh...yeah"..
driver: "i told you my baby can fly, and you never believed me"... -
Or...
"Well Boss, you told me to wing this job. Get it done." -
those guys frequently blow my doors off on i64 in ky. i do my best to see if there are any horses in the trailer when they pass. it’s dark and there’s about a 10 mph dif, so it’s hard to tell. cool stuff.
the collision sucks. hope he/she is ok. -
And parts for Boeing 727s aren’t cheap!! Especially wing related components!!
And if the damage is severe enough the plane may declared damaged beyond economical repair and a write off/hull loss!!! Either way hope the driver/trucking company has good insurance!! -
Everything you wanted to know about the “three holer” but were afraid to ask!
Boeing 727 - WikipediaD.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
You just need a 727 familiar A&P mechanic to look at the damaged parts and exercise the flaps & flight controls and sign some paperwork.
-
Gonna have to check the flaps, slats, ailerons, flap track fairings, fuel tanks, fuel lines, hydraulic lines, electrical lines, wing skin, spoilers, wing spar, navigation lights and static discharge wicks! All of that has to be checked.
