Trucker hygiene (teeth)

    Some of you may know I'm new and maybe a little naive..:biggrin_25526: But I have a serious question about hygiene. I know truckers don't get showers everyday which is fine (too many showers can actually be bad for you), but what about brushing your teeth in the morning?
    Do you use the t/s bathrooms? bottled water for when you're not at a t/s or just don't brush at all?

    Just curious :biggrin_25525:

    i use a bottle of water and brush my teeth while standing next to my truck. i don't care if anybody has issues with me for not using the nasty restroom. they should be happy to see a driver taking the time to brush their teeth. i plan on having all of my teeth for long as possible. besides, i don't sleep well if i don't brush my teeth. the nasty funk within my mouth will always wake me up.

    I like the idea of keeping a bucket for spitting and for those "emergency" breaks. I don't think I'll ever go into a t/s bathroom unless it's to relieve myself. :yes2557:

    Ill just sit in the drivers seat and brush em and spit out the window with some bottled water. Ill keep my toothbrush in the overhead and another in the bag for inside the T/S then its a shot of mouthwash and time for coast 2 coast ! nitey nite yall
