And one would think that constituents would be more important than the life of a non-constituents.

Okay, now before you ding a lings get all upset, and get threads cancelled, PLEASE,,,just the facts( Jack Webb never said "Ma'am" btw) Governor Polis reduced his sentence to 10 years, citing, he was not a particular danger to society in a premeditated sense , like many of the inmates here( and we have some doozies, let me tell ya') I think he has to do some community service towards the peoples families and will never drive a truck again and it DID get over 5 MILLION signatures to reconsider. I don't know what to think( Gov. also pardoned over 1300 pot offenders for minor offenses too) is Colorado too easy on crime and a role model in the country's future decisions, like the pot deal? Sure seems like it.

10 years is rather lenient and 110 seems a bit much BUT remember he refused plea bargain offers and wouldn’t accept anything more than a traffic ticket. As far as I’m concerned, he’s an idiot and the governor was WAY too lenient.
I hate to be negative, but I’m willing to bet that once his sentence is up he goes to some shady CDL mill in south Florida where you basically buy a CDL and gets back behind the wheel of a truck and hauls for another shady company running garbage equipment.

Nah, this kid learned his lesson, we'll never see him again, but doesn't mean someone else like him won't be hired. Besides, this kids name will go into some data base, and he won't drive a tricycle again.

How do you figure he learned his lesson? He apparently thought thought he should get a traffic violation and a shame shame, this will make him think he was right.

10 years in the hoosegow ain't chopped liver though. I think we're pretty safe assuming he won't try to get a cdl again.

It'll be 5, imagine what the uproar will be if he doesn't get parole the first time. I won't be surprised if he's somehow let out in 3 years.
