Trucker is killed in crash on I-81

Last Saturday I saw a US Express truck on it's side off of the 80 just east of Laramie, WY. Dry roads, not much wind, no traffic... Wondering if was mechanical, fatigue or speed?

 

neither ,,,,,it was a wreck...

 

I despise that I-81.

 

Yeah me too. My first 5-6 years that's all I did run, TN-NJ. I know every inch of I-81. It's so heavily traveled being a main artery to the northeast. There's alot of dangerous places on it.

I haven't run it in many years except that little section in Wytheville going down I-77, luckily.

 

Yes, that's my guess too. I can see accidents, but I'm always curious on single incidents because I try and learn from them to help drive safer.

 

Saw one monday also in TN, where the 40 splits going east out of Knoxville, looks like the driver just drove right off the road in the split. Truck was on its side down an embankment

 

It was health related.
