Hmm Quebec cops have bright lights too visibility was bad from snow dust and their lights were going so you know something happened down the road ..

Ontario is all over the media they will be cracking down on transports the accident rate is way way up this year .. point and case 3 separate accident today from Nipigon to Hearst on what I’d call slightly greasy roads at best.. everyone wants to go 105 km/hr(65mph) on the limiter no matter what it seems

That's what I thought, hate to be an armchair quarterback, but as soon as I saw those cops entering the road,I would have backed out of it,hit the 4ways and mosey along until I knew what was up.Even though the cops screwed up that driver had the responsibility to keep his rig under control, especially in those conditions.Another thing I'd have done was get on the 2 way to see what was up.I don't know If I'd have gotten a reply though, that was definitely an Oh S//!+ moment.

Have you ever been in a blinding fog where you can't see two white lines in front of you.Where are you going to stop when you can't even see the exit signs, and If you do stop, who's gonna do to you exactly what that driver did.Your ###### if you do and ###### if you don't.That, I guess is why we make the big money.

If they run into you while you're doing 15 mph in a snow storm I guarantee you'll be sued, and after that Werner lawsuit in Texas I wouldn't be too sure about your chances in court. If it's bad enough you can't drive 35 or 40 you need to park it. There are some accidents that are just that, we can sit here all day and say he should've been going slower, turned the music off, (what that would do I don't know) but we weren't there and really don't know how fast he was going. I'm guessing he was on the brakes as soon as he saw them in the middle of the road, but if his brakes were blown full of snow and they didn't grab right away he still would've hit them even if he was going slower.

Just read about the Werner wreck.I imagine a lot of drivers will think twice about driving in inclement weather, which is a good thing.Werner is appealing the verdict(I sure would)and I wouldn't doubt that it will be significantly reduced. I don't know of any law that says you have to stop driving in bad weather. It seems Mr Werner was doing everything right. What that verdict tells me,and it's something I've known for a long time,is that if you hit a truck or a truck hits you it's an automatic payday. On top of that a lot of people in cars, think we are a nuisance that needs to be restrained if not eliminated.I mean what person in a 4 wheeler hasn't had an experience with a truck that scared them.If only they realized the truth,if you bought it, a truck brought it and you can't blame a truck or trucker for that matter, just because they're larger and more menacing.Sad, very sad, that verdict makes no sense. Thanks,I knew about the Tracy Morgan fiasco, but I hadn't heard about that one.

Significantly reduced? How about Werner found not liable and the nitwit trying to sue pays their lawyer bills, I don't have any love for Werner but that is the stupidest lawsuit I've ever heard of.

Notice the red/white arrows on the corner near the start of the video. That's Quebec.
