No! We have the same attitude about Quebec, as they have about EVERYONE else.

    Suck it up ;)

Just an ordinary winter day. ;)

My guess is that isn't the cops intended destination and it took them by surprise too. Or the vehicle the first cop hit was stopped in the travel lane (I've encountered that way too many times ). There were probably lots of vehicles in the ditch, parked, etc., and the cops would know where the kilometre markers are, so I assume they were intending to go further down the road to a prior call.

ETA: Looking closer at it, the sideways cop was the first car and he got hit by the second cop. So, maybe that was their intended destination and they were just driving too fast, period (never seen that before ;)). I think they were most surprised by the last car which was stopped in the travel lane.

    1) How does one respond to a hypothetical story that is clearly set up against my argument. I can’t and I won’t.

    2) In my original post, please read the part where I wrote “unless proven otherwise”.

    3) When involved in an accident, I never assume responsibility. I tell the authorities what happened and then I keep my mouth shut.

    4) I drive with the latest GoPro with 128 gig memory card recording in a loop. This is my method of defense for anything crazy that happens out here.

    5) If you rear end someone you will be under a closer scrutiny than the person you rear ended. If you don’t believe me then there is nothing more to discuss.

    6) The reason I have this job is because the driver prior to me tapped a car with his truck when that car cut him off. The company gave him a choice, retire with benefits or get terminated without it. He Wisely retired and the slot was offered to me.

No hypothetical to it. It happens to each and every one of us each and every day. Bad drivers do it and greedy drivers looking for a payday do it. Both are everywhere. And every week we see videos of cut-offs [for whatever reason] actually happening and a crash resulted

I never said otherwise. Obviously yes, the one who hits another in the back is presumed guilty and in most cases is at fault, but that is the starting point until other facts possibly get proven out later

I call BS. I suspect it was a "he said, she said" thing. The driver did not have a video to prove his alleged excuse. And the other party probably had 3rd party witness disputing the driver's claim. Truck drivers almost ALWAYS will have such an excuse. Sometimes this is the case, sometimes it's BS but it demonstrates the need to have a good drive-cam if you're a good and safe driver, always. If not, best not have one and take your chances others will take your word for it following a questionable crash.
