####...I was going to multi-quote this thread.....but I would have to include almost everyone.
Never say never.....
I have a close friend swerved and rolled a load of steel down an embankment. Has never had a accident or so much as a parking ticket.
30 years experience. When I ask him "What the hell?" His answer was, "I was tired, and just reacted when the deer stepped into the road."
He'll never drive again. And not because he doesn't want to. -
I ran over a rabbit one time with my left front steering tire and i could feel the bones crunching through the steering wheel. Kinda gross really......
-
I hit what looked like an entire family of skunks once.... it took weeks to get the smell out of the truck, because no truck wash would go near it.

what the hell? a rabbit?
-
He nodded off and could only think to blame a rabbit ? Wtf ?
The wabbit gets it every time Elmer -
Had a deer jump out in front of me once, couldn't help it, I swerved. (too many years of reflexes to over come) But once I reacted I waited untill the truck stablized to re-correct. going left quick isn't as bad as going left,,, then right.
