From the shown website:
In 1838 and 1839, as part of Andrew Jackson's Indian removal policy, the Cherokee nation was forced to give up its lands east of the Mississippi River and to migrate to an area in present-day Oklahoma. The Cherokee people called this journey the "Trail of Tears," because of its devastating effects.

For the Navajo, it was called "The Long Walk."
The forced removal of the Navajo, which began in January 1864 and lasted two months, came to be known as the "Long Walk."

Interesting piece of history I didn't know. Incidentally, that's the same way the French arrived in Louisiana. They were marched there from Eastern Canada by the British in the mid 1700's. That's a long walk

I seldom take the time to watch these videos, but I thank you for that one. Right at the moment, I can't seem to get my "Thank" button to work.
Oh I'm sure there have been plenty of forced relocations that were as bad, or worse. It's just that I identify heavily with these. -
^^^^ Haya @Big Don .... all my stuff went wockey-jawed for a lil'bit today, as well~! I messaged a mod, and she told me they were doing a necessary system upgrade, LoL~! I was confused as well. You can come back here, and use the "thanks" now, and it's back to normal...except for 'icons' instead of words, LoL. It still looks like a battery to me~!!! LoLoL.. Ahhhh...the joys of aging gracefully~!!
