Trucker Shot at Loves

Tow - I didn't know you were ex LE, obviously you're the expert. However, I was arguing on the side of LE. I don't want to see any cop (or security guard) get hurt because they are feeling pressure to give a crazy person or thug more chances.

Normally, I'd like to think of myself as a compassionate guy, but when it comes to violent criminals, I would prefer them all to be shot dead, rather than endanger innocents.

If more nut jobs & thugs would get killed in their commission of a crime, it would be a pretty good deterrent to the rest who have gotten used to working the system.

 

well, considering the spike we have in police abuse and shootings of unarmed people

One less Boznian will not hurt anything. Had to put up with and fire a bunch in Iraq/Afghanistan. Either great people or total troublemakers.

 

An armed society is a behaved society. Not to change the direction of the debate. Look at the crime rate in the cites and state where the citizens are forbidden from carrying firearms for personal protection. Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, New York City. all of the cities have a substantially higher crime rates than cities of equal size or populations that have relaxed laws pertaining to the carrying of firearms. This next thing I am not sure of but I would be willing to bet that there are a lot more crimes prevented by firearms then caused. I for one can say that on at least one occasion I was very happy I was carrying mine. No shots were fired and nobody was injured but the point was made.

 

Remember...this guy was a.truck driver... not a thug.. not a.criminal.. he was not trying to steal anything....

just acting crazy..... what if he was diebetic and was having an attack and was coming to the guard for help...

define.. acting crazy....

this was a man working for a living and many of you are calling him a thug, criminal and worse....

We were not there and it's sad to read a person got killed.
Would be nice to know the whole true story..

If he attacked a security guard, he apparently didn't care about making a living, otherwise he would of obeyed the security guard and nothing would of happened.

 

They are getting serious about guys eating hot dogs without paying for them.

EZX1100, you are right about LEO's loosing it on people... Just look at youtube and some of the video's posted there... it will make all of you mad as help.... I have no respect for LEO's that do the things I have seen. Abuse of power, is what it is and they should be hung! I respect the people that "Serve and Protect" but, there are a lot of bad apples out there and those are the one's that need to be delt with harshly. In my opinion of course... I feel the same about anyone that has been tasked to protect Americans, in any way.... If their job is to protect and serve, than that is what they should do. They give society a sense of confidence that they will be protected but, when one LEO goes bad, or abuses his/her power,,,it sends a sense of fear through society. If we can't trust LEO, who the help can we trust? Security guards should not just be any joe off the street. They are a hand of the law, so to speak so, they should have some type of testing, mental at least.
