Trucker shot in traffic stop

I agree about DeKalb County being rough. I was working armed Security over there a long time ago and got stabbed over there. I do have to defend the County Police though in that event. The call went out to them and there were about a dozen units responded. I was more impressed by them than I was the Sheriffs Department in that situation.

 

ON some of the posted blog comments, according to some people the truck was already on the off ramp and the driver was doing walkaround inspection of the truck and trailer, most likely why he had the hammer; the officer pulled over behind him a few minutes later.

 

I am local to the area that this incident happened. This particular LEO is known for harassing trucks trying to make $$$ for the township.
