Trucker Tough Gear Rack review.

2 feet of 1/2" BX from Home Depot and presto bingo I got a $70 device hanger. oh wait some black spray paint too.

My experience with Bracketron Trucker Tough products has not been good. I ordered them direct from their fulfillment center in MN, they got the order wrong. They did correct that issue. I cleaned the dash carefully, soap and water first, then rubbing alcohol to remove the soap residue. The instructions say nothing about a recommended procedure. At least on a Century Class type of instrument panel the suction cups stopped sticking after about 2 weeks of use. Further cleaning of the cups or instrument panel did no good. The bracket designed for medium sized tablets is minimum.
I will get around the suction cup problem by drilling them to a panel and mounting the panel on the dashboard.
