You may see if you can get a letter from their doctors or anyone in a position of authority who can verify that you took care of them. Your grandparents could write a letter, but if the companies know you are related, it won't mean very much. If you were paid for helping them with the storage business that could help. If you have been registered with the state employment office during that time, you could probably get a letter from them. If you handled any of your grandparents banking or other business where others were aware of the help you were giving them, then that is another way you can provide substantiation. A lawyer they used might also provide a letter for you. If your grandparents did actually employ you to help then they could provide some documentation.

You can ask the head of the organization to write a personal reference on their letterhead. He/she could explain what you did for the organization and the duration.

It would probably help, but may not be necessary. When it is notarized it is more of a legal document and would give the letter more credibility.

Do you think 4 years of employment with a same employer in USA is going to be enough? Because I can not prove any of my previous jobs in Eastern Europe, because during the 90s none of them offered contracts to their workers and most of them do not even exist now. Even the government agency I worked for a while back home is shut down so is impossible to find someone to give me reference. I have my only 4 years with Whole Foods in USA. Hope it's enough.

Being with a company for 4 years is good. Most drivers only stay with a carrier for a few months. Carriers usually only check the last 3 years of employment. You will still need to account for 10 years, but all you do is put down what you did and were you worked. There isn't much you can do if those agencies or companies are no longer in business. As I stated, they will primary be interested in the last 3 years and you have been with your current employer for 4 years.

You should be prepared to prove that you are legally in the country or that you have been a naturalized citizen. I don't think that you have anything to worry about.

I will choose the company I will be driving with very carefully, because I prefer to work for a same employer a long time. I like the loyal side. And if I show respect, good manners and friendly attitude, everything is going to be ok:biggrin_25519: And thank you for answering my question.
