On e logs, in a truck governed at 65mph, I ran 691 miles today. That includes going through Cincinnati and Indianapolis.
I make just as much money on e logs as I did on paper, with a heck of a lot stress.

What part can't you believe? He never claimed to have done it (drive through the cities) at 5pm.

I don't believe the part about stress. Averaging 63 mph in a 65 mph truck, wow. Foot to the floor in the middle lane all day long I guess. Hit the rest area for the 30 minute break, can't afford the hit that getting off the interstate would put on the average speed. Running to within minutes of the 11 and finding parking at that exact time. Yeah, I have a hard time buying it.

I chalked it up to using split sleeper, driving through the cities in the middle of the night AND misread the being governed. So stuck at 65 I'm with you. It's BS.

I predict that the French drivers will soon show us why that's not a good idea. #### they are striking because of Polish trucking companies undercutting the rates because they pay their drivers 1/3 as much. Somehow I doubt that a guy making 300% of what a similar driver is available for going on strike is going to have much impact. Now if the Polish guys went on strike...
