Truckers beware if you are driving through Indiana

Well, DOT officers are known to fabricate violations. They do have an unwritten quota and if you don't believe it, let them not write "X" number of tickets and see how long they have a job. They couldn't care less if a driver loses his job and long as they themselves can suck up to their boss and keep their job. Those DOT officers and some state troopers are a good example as to why American companies recruit workers from overseas because they sure don't want that caliber of people working in their companies. You can bet those state enforcement officials really do the high-fives when they destroy a truckers job or severely damage a trucking company with massive fines. Sure, some fines are deserved, but those guys go overboard trying to do their part in wrecking the American economy and the American worker. They point fingers that it's everyone elses fault concerning the economy and unemployment, because after all, they are perfect and they know they are when they look in the mirror and fawn at themselves wearing the gun and badge.

Bet you wouldn't think too kindly of this if they pulled you over just because.Who says they're pulling over only unsafe trks.

 

It's all about revenue ........ All you can do is have your crap in order , and fight whatever bs ticket you get......

 

you really think Chicago is among the worst? I thought they were among the best, at least as far as big cities and four wheelers go. Fast, yes, but they know how to merge (floor it and get on, or hang back until clear), most will let you merge and most seem to know what a turn signal is.

Now the northeast, you've got the clinically insane , rude-me first attitudes all rolled up into an evil kneivel mindset. Then there's the south, they're just as bad , but its just because they don't know any better. Millions of Magoos driving randomly until they get where they're going

 

Everyone knows that the DOT gives out tickets that are not fair some of the time, its there business.

 

I'm glad someone on here posted this, there should be more people out here that should do the same.

 

This was posted in another thread and is a good example of that.

"Saw a Texas State trooper sitting there with his lights off in the ditch..... and didn't see the speed limit sign 55 mph.. got stopped for doing 59 in a 55.. got dot'd cost me an hour and 8 points... Didn't get speeding write up but he got me because I didn't have a spare 30 amp fuse... Had all the others...but no 30's..."

You can't tell me the public is safer because this driver was written up for not having a spare 30 amp fuse. That just screams petty.

Since when is carrying spare fused DOT required? I thought the only spare you needed was for your lights. I mean I don't carry spare 5's, 15's, or 25's because none of those circuits are critical.
