    Hi Everyone,

    Quick question. Are the CDL pratice tests geared toward a specific state. I'm taking my writtens in Texas and there were a couple of questions I didn't recognize.

    I took practice tests online that were texas specific when i did mine. There were alot of similar questions on the practice and the real tests.

    I know that my Ohio CDL book tells me how to do stab braking, but the correct answer on truckingreport's practice test is "Never use stab braking".

    That question keeps sneaking back into our database, and the correct answer on our test is wrong. Stab braking is considered a valid braking method by all state CDL tests.

    I took the the tanker and hazmat practice tests several times before going to DPS, and passed with flying colors. I highly recommend you use these practice tests. The questions are the same ones found at DPS.

    I've been studying pretty hard. I'm going to try to finish up the written tests next week. I appreciate all the feed-back folks. Its a BIG help. I REALLY appreciate the practice tests.
