When it comes to recruiting, I see the drivers as being the best recruiters a company has. Treat the drivers right and there is no way you could shut them up! And you won't be needing to pay a recruiting staff and you can put that wasted money into paying your drivers.

Imagine, happy drivers crossing the country bragging on the company they work for.

    AfterShock and Beechvtail Thank this.

The Storage Trailer is full of archived posts that are kept separate because of their value in teaching. These threads are locked to keep them from being in the new posts and detracted from. It's a good place to find information while not being part of a discussion, or another place for lurkers to hang out while trying to figure out if and what they want to post about.

You don't need a whooping.:biggrin_25525: You can base a new thread on something you found in the Storage Trailer.

    Sounds logical. :yes2557:

    Ahhhhhhhhh, -----
    I just imagined that, Hubcap.
    Thanx for suggesting that.
    Sure felt good.
Even the CB chatter was positive.
Well, ....... except for one driver who's negative sounded more positive, ......... to me anyway.

He went on about how guilty the company he drives for is for consistently getting him home on time, as requested, to coincide with his log re-set back to 70 hours. He complained about the condition of the equipment, particularly how his Big truck is replaced every 2 1/2 years, 'cause he ain't got used to the other one yet.
    Go figure.
But his biggest complaint was the company never gave him a reason to complain.
    Imagine that. :biggrin_25523:

And while I'm on the subject of complainin', it comes to mind that the Staff here at The Trucker's Report gives me pretty much nuthin' in that department.
    Hmmmmmmmmmm, ------------------- I wonder.
Should I be complainin' 'bout that?

    Naw,
I think those who make it possible for us all to make it happen deserve a standing-0.
    Thanx Wiseone and staff. :salute:
    Y'all's efforts are much appreciated.

    Thanx for the flowers, Riged4Detention.
    Much appreciated. :biggrin_25514:

So, the recruiter neglects to call you?
    Hmmmmmmmmmm
Do you think they realize they're ignoring a potential great employee?
Give me that recruiter's number and I'll clue them in.
First, I'd have them meet me here at The Trucker's Report, just in case they're unaware of what's available to those seeking a career as a Big truck truck driver. That ought to tenderize 'em a tad.
Then, when their knees begin to shake and feel weak, I'll strike their exposed, vulnerable underbelly with logic.

I suspect they'll stammer and stutter nervously as they try to remember all their usual answers full of bovine excrement that have been successful for them in the past. Not this time though. The hundreds of years of combined poster's experience found contained here will illuminate the truth and sound a warning when they try to pull the wool over the eyes of wannaBees. If the experience is effective, they'll sign up and become a member of the TTR family of informed persons, change their evil ways and become a decent person again, --- able and willing to actually help and assist folks who desire to enter the truckin' industry.

    I know,
    I know.
But it's a satisfying dream, nonetheless.
    :sleepy2::smt015
    Ya reckon. :biggrin_25525:

On page 4 of this thread, there is a recruiter here from some company, his name here is DriveRecruit, he said his company pays for advertising on the top of the page here and he was bashing a driver but wouldnt give the drivers name either, i was trying to get him to tell us where he works and such.
