CoPilot Truck is based on PC Miller's routing. at greater then 4 star with over 10million downloads, I think that says something. However it is a one time fee of $149, but if you have a robust smart phone, it might be worth it.
I mightve considered the above tablet, had it not been a 3g when 4g is the most widely used standard these days. Hell I might just buy another Galaxy Tab 3 and buy the Copilot Trucks app just for ##### and giggles. I dont mind throwing money down the drain on frivolous items like these.

Yes but you know you can use your phone as a wifi spot for the tablet. Also this does not need the wifi to run the navigation since it has the gps built into it. anyway it is each of us to decide what we want. After the Rand Mcnally failuresi am just tired of them so i decided i need something new to try.

I'm sure you just miss typed what you really meant. -
Sorry android is 4.4.3 kit kat. 4.4 kit kat came out last 2013. The hardware in this tablet is to old to upgrade to 4.4 here is pc miler for trucks. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alk.copilot.market.uscanada.truck

Again you are clueless only the cheaper android tablet don't have built in gps. The Nexus line and the lg gpad 8.3 both have built in gps. You have no idea how to run pc miler FYI u can set the preamiters on your route. Every app this tablet has is available is in the playstore. Any one that pays more then $99 for this tablet really should see a head doc. All this company did was add trucker name to it to to bait truckers. And most drivers aren't tech enough to realize there are better options out there. I'm just trying to point out the flaws.

my first tablet came with 3.0 and upgraded to 4.0.
i'm willing to bet this truckers tablet can take 4.4.
in fact. i'm pretty sure there was a rom at one point ant time. version 4.3 that would work on m y old bionic that came with 2.1 -
I imagine the highly vocal proponents of this device are associates of the manufacturer. Again.
moosc Thanks this. -
As long as there is developer able to unlock it and root and add a custom ROM, then the sky's the limit. But like I said before drivers see the tag truckers tablet with truckers apps and buy it. They won't care about os or rooting or upgrading. The just care it says trucker so it must b good.

Who makes the "Truckers Tablet". Is it a well know manufacturer or generic (like the Nexus 7 2013 is made by Asus)?
