Truckers, truck stop manager oppose idling restrictions

but the problem is if you make the temp gap to small say like only 50-70 the tree huggers are going to say whats the point because in WI its in that temp range for what 2 months out of the year. I think its just a way to please the tree huggers and at least advise the trucking community to limit there idling to a "only when needed" basis instead of 24/7 never shut the truck off thing.

 

I say we put all the "tree huggers" and goverment officials in a truck overnight at 40 in upper Minnesota, with howling canadian winds in late November. So what if you wake up with blue toes and fingers and pnuemonia.....and at 80 with 90% humidity near water in mosquito season. I mean if they just open their windows they'll stay cool all night, right? And I'm sure no one with mess with a truck with wide open windows at a truckstop at 3am....nah, never.
They can all kiss my dupa with these laws till they walk in our shoes.
