You reap what you sow in life. Many have suffered and many more will due to failed drug test. A couple hours of partying or being high compared to a life of financial stability you choose.

A guy I drove with bragged that when he was an owner-op with a couple of trucks he would fake his employees' drug tests.

Im based out of Canada with a large reputable company and we (drivers) are required to submit to random urine testing.

    Hmmmmmmmm --------
Excellent question, Haze, ............ a cupala tough choices though.
    I'd need more details.
    Which drug test got failed?
    When was the party?
Was I invited or did I crash it?

Oh, if it's about that 18-wheeler parked in y'all's driveway, an' sorta in the garage? :biggrin_25524:
    That's gonna get fixed.
Bein' financially stable, it's all well insured.

Uhhhhhh ........ what was the question again? :biggrin_25525:

Yeah, I've heard stories of places like that.
    Gotta be careful though.
One dude did that and found out the news, both good and not so good
    at the same time.
    YO!
    Dood.
Y'all's tes results jus got dun.
    Congratulations MaN!
    Y'all are preggo. :biggrin_25521: :biggrin_25523:

Remember when there weren't random tests to have to submit to?
    I do. :yes2557:
I recall there was gonna be a rather sudden need for labs to handle the rush once the law went into effect, and thereafter.
Being an elected office-holder aware of impending, ..... adjustments to the demand for supply, ..... might be inclined to invest in opening just such a clinic, --- maybe even a chain.
    A steady, reliable, predictable income,
especially for those quickest to respond to a need,
even before it was known by most to be needed.
    Drive-Thru deposit would be nice.
    That's what they need.

I wouldn't think of mentionin' it, Jerry. :biggrin_25512:
But, ......... you do realize that countless millions of folks read these threads, ..... so chances are pretty good that a bunch-a people are now aware, ......... right?
    Should they be alarmed?

    WoW! :biggrin_2555::biggrin_2551:
    What can I say? :biggrin_2554:
You found me right here where I've been hidin' :biggrin_2556:
    in plain sight.
    You're good ------ :yes2557:

    How you doo dat?

OK, ....... now it's your turn to hide,
    and I go-'n-seek.
    I'm gonna count to 100,
    you go hide.

    HuH?

    No,
    I ain't gonna peek.

I don't care about testing welfare recipients. I would like to see lawyers, all first responders, all members of congress and their staff members tested. They all have the ability to damage more peoples lives than one stoned trucker.

I really don't care what anybody does on their time off, just don't drive impaired and I'm not sure drug tests make that distinction. I do think it should be fine for drivers to have an Adderal prescription to use when needed. If military and commercial pilots can use it, why not me?

Commercial pot cultivation supports my local economy, including a huge amount of trucking. It's obviously here to stay whether you like it or not. On a side note, the best outdoor hippy weed is now under $1,000 per pound. The market is flooded. So much for the effectiveness of drug laws. I guess drug control has worked so well, we will just have to try gun control next.

It all depends on the company. Usually it's the larger ones. The four I worked for didn't. I've probably helped build about 100 houses and and 3 apartment complexes. Pot smoking on everyone of them. :)

I agree why do they all think that to police is the only way to go? Police yourselves, I mean these law makers that decide what is right.
