Try May Truck Lines Salem Or. They are known for giving people a chance. Or call some of the broker servoces, you may want to give Uship a call before you buy anything. There a load board for OO, so is farm2.

I know a guy that had a bad round with drugs and spent a little time in Texas. He is still on parole and got his authority last year so it's doable. I don't know the strings he had to pull or the hoops he had to jump through but it can be done

Some Owner operator companies like Landstar going down to 7 years.

I was wondering if he could get his own authority, too. Then just avoid the questions. Or wait four months for oil field to start picking up.

Yes I work for Landstar, they have changed the Felony to 7 years. You are able to apply.

Different direction, I recently came into a 1986 359 Pete, it's running a Cummins 400 with 3:70 rears and a 10 speed transmissions. I've driven the truck a couple of times and I find that the temperature runs hot, between 195 to 205, I've been told that these old engines need to be run around 2100 rpm's. If anyone has had any experience with this engine or advice I would greatly appreciate the feedback. Thanks
