No they're not. Don't act like the FMCSA is a well-oiled machine running on a shoestring budget. There's plenty of WFA that can and should be eliminated, just like in every other federal agency.

I think the way I do because people like you haven't put forward anything more than talking points. When you do make cuts, things become worse. In 2018 FMCSA had it's budget slashed. The problems we faced then are the same we face now - just much, much worse. So show me a plan, with details about what funding and staffing is required to do the audit you want in the most efficient way possible. The tell me which programs and staffing you want to cut to pay for it.
