My current company truck is set at 75, but I pretty much do what the speed limit is (usually no faster than 71-72).
However, it’s nice having the extra throttle on tap to get away from the mega packs.Blagoje, Trucker Nunnery, Milkman719 and 3 others Thank this. -

the company I work for the trucks are governed at 65 and if you are going down hill I have to keep it slowed to 65 because we are only allowed 3% overspeed. Thats the bad now the good we always run light so I get short term joy passing trucks on the hills. We always get the green light at scales or about 95% of the time. Why do some truckers try to put the sqeeze on trucks that want to pass them in snowy weather?

62 mph trucks can still play cowboy in construction zones and 45 mph zones
patsy, flood and Milkman719 Thank this. -
some more ; these company trucks do 75mph or greater
Farmers oil
Amistad freight , inc
Desert refined products transport
Grady Hudson transport
Flat creek transportation
Philip Sims trucking
Giltner (70mph)
Speaking of governed , it seems like the FedEx ground trucks out of California aren't going 80mph anymore. I haven't seen one going faster than 65mph in a whileLast edited: Feb 18, 2019
