Looking for any companies that will hire with a spillage from flat bedding on there mvr record. My husband is a reefer driver that did flatbedding for a short amount of time and the owner did not train him. He has applied to so many different companies and has been declined by all of them because if the spillage.

is there any company that pays well that will hire him. the company he is at now is not good at all. Very low pay, crap equipment and terrible dispatchers.

Just hoping there is some one out there that will give him a chance. He is in California and has been driving reefer for 9 years and 3 years dry van.

Assuming he is not already there now -- he should probably check out Western Express, if you guys haven't already:

    Home - Western Express

They do both dry van and flatbed.

They are pretty much well known for being a "second chance" carrier.

Spillage from a flatbed? Do you mean he lost a load or portion of load and got cited for improper securement? Not being a nit picker, just asking for clarification as it seems odd that a van or reefer outfit would care a lot about a flatbed load securement violation

    Bud A. Thanks this.

yes spillage from a flatbed load from a portion of it falling off. And yes everyone has been declining him due to this even though he has been applying for dry van and reefer positions. I found it odd also that they are declining him for it.

Keep the apps. going. Some decent reefer outfit will eventually hire him.
Which city/town are you near in California?

Try May Trucking Company which has a good reputation and gives some drivers a 2nd chance.

Don't call first. Submit the app off the website, then follow up with a phone call in a couple of days.
Call and say, "I'm checking on my driving job application."

Was there additional citations or injuries or fatalities from loosing a portion of the load? I’m not even sure if improper load securement would have any affect on his license. Sounds like there’s more here
