I always liked "A. Duie Pyle". The old trailers had the big orange graphics, and the big black lightning bolt "zapping" the part that said "DIRECT AND OVERNIGHT TO ALL POINTS".

Every time I saw it, I'd read it out loud in a "Superman announcer voice".

 

Sometimes I read posts in different voices. Posts that drop words & phrases like I work hard for what I have, integrity, and I never had an accident in 400 years, get the Hank Hill voice.

The twisted truckers get Stewie from Family Guy

And the clueless drivers that bomb drug tests, get in to 20 accidents, or the like and wonder why they can't find a job anymore get Homer Simpson... or Butthead.. depending on how the post is worded.

 

I bet he's a super trucker in beautiful cabover

 

My buddy saw a company that said 24Hr Transportation...he got a kick out of that name because on the side it said driver is using electronic logs lol he had seen this when we could still use paper logs

 

I remember the humpin to please trucks that had a camel painted on the trailer.

 

Once saw a truck with Hauling ### Trucking LLC on it

 

GOD TRUCKING

Guaranteed on-time delivery

And the name Swift always cracked me up..

As I passed every one of them while they were the slowest governed trucks on the road. How ironic.
