I am looking to buy a new GPS system for use in my truck and would like any input you may have on the different brands out there. Thanks![]()

I voted for the PCMiler because it is the only one I know of right now that has Canadian truck routes and addresses, which iis a really big deal for me. I think the Garmin might, but dunno for sure.

I have the pcmiler. I dont think there is a best GPS. Its a matter of taking the time to get to know all the quirks of the one you choose. I use the pcmiler because I can pick the routes if need be on the GPS map. That comes in handy for oversize loads

I used the Garmin Nuvi**** that was suppossed to be the best. There is a couple Nuvi. The one witht he highest number is the trucker model that was rated as the best. That thing tried to take me off a straight shot to my next turn. It tried to route me through a residential neighborhood. Tried to get me to go down a one lane dirt road, sent me down the wrong streets etc.
I just bought the Cobra. it won't see any testing until 4/9. I don't have a lap top for the truck yet. -
Sometimes you are driving past a couple of truck stops and they don't even show up on the screen!

Thanks, the miler seems to be the most sought after. Any thoughts to where is the best place to buy one?
Thanks again
