I was looking at midwest-coast.
MCT is primarily a high service, 48-state, full truckload carrier of general commodities, both dry goods and products requiring protective services. We also offer specialty, dedicated, regional, and logistics services. Our fleet of nearly 800 power units is comprised entirely of independent contractors, from those who drive their own truck to fleet operators who employ drivers in both solo and team operations.
MCT's parent company is Comcar Industries. Headquartered in Auburndale, Florida, Comcar is one of the nation's largest trucking groups with 53 strategically located terminals across the country.
I am not getting how this works.
Comcar owns the various companies???

Go to the Comcar website via google. I counted at least 7 trucking companies owned by Comcar. The most recognizable one to me was Willis Shaw Express.

It looks like Comcar owns several companies, these companies have smaller companies that lease through them?
