WM, yup LADD 2 is monitored by scales in Yukon, mostly LADD 1 is like the CB Channel 19, but most don't just gab on it, we tend to use LADD 3 or 4 or one of the many AB/BC OPEN Channels for general visiting, and besides most of us are just too ###### "polite" to come up with the BS going through Atlanta...there's just not enough of us! LOL

    Cool,

I'll scan them here and see if there is any traffic.

    Just curious, thanks......

Oh yeah, what do you use for equipment?

You have to have your antenna tuned too which can make a huge difference. Out of the box I could only reach out about 5 miles. After my antenna was tuned I can now reach out 55 miles on flat land.

Using an ICOM V8000 with a mag mount B1323 Laird antenna.

A useful site too find Canadian frequencies
