WM, yup LADD 2 is monitored by scales in Yukon, mostly LADD 1 is like the CB Channel 19, but most don't just gab on it, we tend to use LADD 3 or 4 or one of the many AB/BC OPEN Channels for general visiting, and besides most of us are just too ###### "polite" to come up with the BS going through Atlanta...there's just not enough of us! You have to have your antenna tuned too which can make a huge difference. Out of the box I could only reach out about 5 miles. After my antenna was tuned I can now reach out 55 miles on flat land.
Using an ICOM V8000 with a mag mount B1323 Laird antenna.
