    60 minutes did a story tonight about that dopey 60 mile ice skating race that Caesar brought up one time. What he didn’t tell us is the race hasn’t been run in NL since 1979 (I think they said) because it’s not cold enough for the canals to freeze...... they move the race each year to Austria .

    But they are the snow removal experts.....

    Not to mention winter trucking pros. It was funny to watch.

    It was held in 85, 86 and 93. I would have skated it in 85, but it was finals week.....

    And, no, you can't hold it in Austria. That's just another race.

    Michael Gully used to bring a non-tilting cab White Freightliner to the Jamboree in Walcott. It had the radiator behind the cab, so when you looked through the grill, you could see the Yellow Cummins in there.
