Working on this fine European designed engine ( I don't mind them)
Nice when air compressor bearing fails, which breaks p/s pump shafts that also drives fuel pump. Doesn't give a lot of time for driver to react! 2016 MX13, 550,000 miles. Third one that has failed like this. They did change from ZF pump to Bosch.daf105paccar and Cat sdp Thank this. -
Putting solar panels on new roof. We have excellent Southwest facing exposure. System is supposed to generate 108% of our yearly electricity usage……
we shall see……daf105paccar, Bean Jr., 98989 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Are you putting in any storage? Or are you net-metering?
-

-i have austrian bramac (roof tiles made of concrete). i have like 22000lbs of roof tiles., it is coated to prevent heat to get into
-we have wood construction made to left 3 inch of air gap below tiles to allow hot air to move upwards and let it out trough air vents (prevent hot air to heat interior of house),
-below we have air breathable, water resistant foil
-1 inch of wood planks
-6,3 high wood beams
-1,5inch of air gap (between wood beams) (opening outside under roof so air also goes up - end up in attic, which is ventilated)
-below goes water resistant foil from knauf
-5 inch of mineral wool
-another 5 inch of wool (but in other direction)
-alu foil with thermal reflection
-drywall plates
above of living space there is 5 inch concrete slab, above there goes alu foil, 6 inch of hard mineral wool, and 2 inch of concrete.
many people make roof this days with panels or metal sheet, but none of this seems to be durable -
here worst products here are made better.
i would pay body like this about 10.000 €, for this money you dont get ktl or zink, just regular 2k paint -
we cut 1m for heat wood, regular timber is mostly 3m and 6m, but 4,5,7,8 common too. -
I could hear a noise when reving the engine.
Didn't want to risk it.
BTW i believe Volvo has a similiar setup..... how has Detroit done it?spsauerland Thanks this.
