Wouldn't one running on CNG from landfill gas with hybrid drive line be better for environment and way cheaper?

haycarter, Oxbow and Bean Jr. Thank this.

Cheaper for sure. But if you need a zero emission truck, battery is the only solution.

The cab looks like something from the 60's.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Electricity is never zero emission, even when using solar/wind. Emissions were emitted during the production and installation of all electric production. Just look at battery production and the natural resources required to produce them.

I agree. But it can be zero emission where and when it's operating and that can never happen with a combustion engine.

Bean Jr. and Oxbow Thank this.

The rubber tires emit emissions. Zero emissions is a lie.

Flint1, 98989 and Oxbow Thank this.

And fuel efficient tires dont last, dont hold road as well.
Manufacturers will be forced to use them to avoid huge penalties imposed by goverments

Bean Jr., spsauerland and Oxbow Thank this.
