The only thing that might be better on that truck is if the back axle would steer and still be driven…….

except oshkosh het, is there any other truck that do this?

in europe such thing exist only in two regions:

one of them is NL, where law favour wide spreads between axles, in europe when axle spacing is over 6ft, 2axles are not anymore considered as axle group but individual axles and thereby get higher axle weights which works great with their higher total gvw.
they have twin tired fixed axle mounted on special way to rotate entire axle.
this is made by converting standard truck by moving rear axle and replacing suspension, mostly with hydraulic type.
configuration vary from 6x4, 6x6, 8x6, 8x8, 10x4, 10x8 with all kind of axle (spacing) layouts.
i would say man has highest market share in this.

other region are alps, they need extra maneuverability and traction in one.
used only in some very rural areas, this is done on small number of trucks by replacing normal twin tired driven axle with front driven axle
those companies are often involved in construction of cable cars, but you can see them on fire trucks(especially ladder), regular construction and timber trucks occasionally.
this is only available on man and mb (but very rare due several times higher price for conversion), there are like 15 scania airport fire trucks in italy with this wheel formula using 3rd party axle.
you can see it in any kind of wheel formula from 4x2,4x2, 6x4, 6x6, 8x4,8x6,8x8,10x4,10x6,10x8

tatra can build such kind of configuration using knuckle type of "axle" and they are popular in NL (also with NL axle weights) , but can be applied to alps region but saw only few.
