My recruiter told me to plan to run all 48 and Canada. I talked to a driver when I was out on the road with my pop last week for prime, and he had left NC, went to Cali, shot over to Chicago and then up into Canada over a 2 week span. Granted, this could have been the CB chronicles, but he seemed to be a pretty stand up guy.

You will run all 48 plus Canada, unless you are in the NE regional. Then there still is a good chance you will still run all 48 and Canada

What do you mean unless you are in the ne? I live in pa and have just applied to Prime and they have started to verify my employment history.

Prime has a NE Regional group which runs mostly NE. To work in that group, you have to live in their service area.

    Anyone can run national.

Chances are really good that it will not be a problem to run national.

However, if Prime decides they want you in the NE fleet, as a company driver, you dont have a choice. It has happened. Cant say that I have heard it happens much.

Consolation is that its an extra .05/mile NE regional on top of .05/mile for a Light weight tractor. Thats about .46/mile if Im not mistaken.

Any idea what they consider NE? I live in PA and that would really make hometime easier to come by.
