Hey, OP, you might also check Indeed.Com for driving job listings in your area... I get the part about friction with your trainer, I really think it's important for a trainer and student driver to get along, otherwise there's too much negativity & distraction. OTOH, you wanna downplay that whole experience so you don't come across as a "difficult person" or a whiner, aye? Just put it behind ya and focus on the miles you've already completed... and be willing to go out with another trainer, though you might get lucky and find some smaller outfit willing to take you on as long as you do well on a road test, drug test, etc. Dunno if truck stops still have those little magazines with ads for companies who are hiring, you might check the nearest truck stops and grab a few of those to look for potential employers. Don't write off your CDL-A yet, some towns & cities hire Class A drivers for their Public Works and Maintenance departments, and the benefits are usually pretty good. Just my $.02, good luck to ya!

I used those postcard apps at truck stops. Some were in those magazines you mentioned.
Landed a boat hauling job that way.

10-4, I was just throwing out some options for the OP, no point in his being discouraged when he has that CDL-A in his wallet... beats working in the fast food industry. ;)
