    APU = Auxilary Power Unit in other words, something you can use to power your gadgets without firing up the truck or kiling your truck batteries.:biggrin_25525:

    That passenger better be known by the company. It all depends on the site and the company.

    They still have to have permission from the company plus have it in writing. Check FMCSR §392.60.
