If you are an OO you can get your own authority and no one tracks you. Dont knwo about Watkins-Shepard but when I was with them OOs didnt have QC.
-
Sooner or later if companies don't keep their drivers and dispatchers on a leash and make PROPER repairs on equipment, even the small companies will have gps tracking

Be very very quiet, someone out their is listening and watching.

Even if you have your own authority you're still gonna be tracked. Potentially every scale you cross is typing in your info into their computer system and don't think if you get inspected down the road it's not going to come up and bite you if you're logs don't match. Unfortunately that is just reality these days.

Try doing an internet search for DOT road cameras, they are everywhere and they all record. It just ain't worth trying to hide and do something illegal, too much to lose.

If you have an engine with an ECM, or carry a cell phone, your positioning can be tracked after the fact. I.e. while you can out-smart DOT during a roadside inspection, with or without GPS, in the event of an injury accident a smart lawyer ( is there such a thing ) can subpoena any of the afore mentioned records to compare with your logbook.
Is the extra revenue worth going to jail for an accident that may not even be your fault? NO!Dryver and Bob's Buzz Thank this.
