Hey maverick drivers, every time I see a maverick truck it's so shiny and clean. Does ur company makes u clean them urself, clean them for u, or do they have u get them washed at a truck wash (at ur own expense or company pay for it)? Just wanted 2 know how it works cuz in 2 months I most likely will be driving one of them beautiful shiny clean trucks!

then on the other hand, there are companies out there that dont pay for it. and sorry, but as a company driver, why should i care more about YOUR truck than you do?

To the OP:
We can go through a Blue Beacon every 21 days. Maverick pays for the tractor and trailer to be washed. Also, we have a drive through truck wash at two of our terminals.Hammerin' Hank Thanks this. -

Yeah, Evil E is correct. Blue Beacon every 21 days for me since I never get out to the NLR or Madison terminals being in a dedicated route. Our trucks DO get awfully dirty though! Just last week I delivered to this consignee up around the Chicago area, a RIDICULOUSLY TIGHT back into a downgraded door/dock and to top it off more than half of the space (on my passenger side) to use for the back was deep, wet mud. Almost got stuck, needless to say I needed a wash in the worst way, but couldn't until yesterday when I got close to a BB wash on my deadhead home for the Holidays. There are times when I (and others) have to drive around in a muddy truck.
