Can you use a sprinter or other type van to haul a trailer for freight. I am looking to retire and want to get an RV such as a Sprinter and tow a 24 ft trailer for extra money. Any one know if I can do this.I will have my own authority. Thanks

No vans currently on the market can tow in excess of ~9500lbs.

Maybe possible in one of these badboys if you sell a kidney for the Cummins/Allison swap.

With a van you're gonna be pretty limited in terms of towable weight because you have a hitch instead of a 5th wheel in the bed

Not unless you want to be called master sprinter.
