Maybe I'll give them a shout again this week, who knows, maybe a truck opened up!!! Thanks stabob!
stabob Thanks this. -
Still going very well over here. My new run has been cut back a bit four days not five but I still get 2000 miles @ .40 so I'll take it! I love it the hours they are great for me I pick up at exit 76 Midway Ga to Orlando at 4 to 7 pm the relay driver gets there I always liked late afternoon/night work its only 8 1/2 hours of driving so I sleep in no alarm clocks anymore!! Three nights in the truck the rest at home.I could always use more miles and I know I could get them but this works out good for me and my wife and kids.
I know I sound like a company cheerleader but so what I never, never thought I could be this happy at a job in a truck. I did have my first brakedown last week and got some good news shop boss said just rig it to get by were not putting anymore money in that truck its out of here real soon with 100 new freightliners on order. From what I here by the end of this year there will be nothing older than 2006 left.
Oh and before anyone starts on the ''riging'' it was just that the pulley on the ac compresser has a deeper groov in it than the rest so the belts are wering out and geting lose so no big deal for a 14 year old truck thats not that bad. -
Still going OK over there Stabob? I'm looking at companies that run Southeast also with more frequent hometime than I get at Knight. Out 2.5 weeks at a time and a 3 day max hometime. And I never get thru the house. Trucks inc, and Davis Express require 2 years. Currently got only 1.5 yrs and trying to hang in with Knight to reach that 2 yr plateau. Did you ever figure out what happened at Pemberton? Were they OK? They supposedly only require 1 year. I am a Winter Haven resident.

I would not recomend Pemberton the pay is way to low and they lied about home time it will be a fight to get home every week. Trucks will take you if you call and talk to Pam they will work with you. And yes its going great here just got a rise to 42 cpm and I only work tuesday to friday 4 day work week and sill take home 780.00 a week. You do as you plese over here its great! But you will be in a older truck at first but not long.If you are working for a big company like Knight this place will blow your mind it really is ''as corny as it sounds'' like working for a company that your famliy owns.
Oh dont let the split pay turn you off 24 mt 42 loaded it put me off at first but the most I ever did mt before I got this run were Im loaded all the time was like 200 a week at most. The Challenger and xlsdraw Thank this. -
