Yes they are the oversided ones. I have been watching contracts since The disaster. And they moved some from Cumberland, MD. But these in Selma are old and used. Tires are bad and they dont want to pay to change them. I know lots of brokers do them. But I just wanted to forewarn that that company posting is fishy. According to a contact with fema that I know there is a meeting in feburary to decide about setting more up. And if you have been to NJ, where the heck you gonna put 10000 mobiles. In the Ocean??

How can you setup a contract that is not existent? Unless its Fema giving a contract to someone thats in WA and is intended to rip people off. The rate of 2250.00 for 1100 miles is the big warning. Since they moved travel trailers less distance for triple that.

Mike they are looking for trucks to sign on with them. To move trailers. But do the math 2200 Miles round trip for 2250.00 Are you nuts?? Have you ever moved a 12x40 12x60 Mobile home. They say no permits, no escorts required. But According to the states from AL to NJ there is no exemption and permits are required. As for the escort, not really necessary, but unless you have a toter truck and extended mirrors and a angel following you. You have a problem your screwed.

This was an informational post and I will post myself a legit company and contract# when they do want to move them. The rates set should be around 4-6 thousand according to past bids.

If they get the states to agree, FEMA can be pulled with signs that exempt them. But, I do not see that happening. In 2005, we pulled RV's to New Orleans area for more than what they want these moved for.
