Oh they were good trucks other than the build quality of the cab .
You know like dashes and gauge panels that fell apart , door panels that fell apart , junk cabinets and headlites that were worthless .
Truck's you wish, that you still had.

I wish I would have kept the first and only "new" truck I ever custom ordered 88 Pete. B model Cat. Eaton just came out with the 18 speed, promo gave it to me for the price of the 13.
I put 2 million miles on that truck, then sold it to some friends in the oil patch. They ran it several years then broke the frame in half. That truck did nothing but make me money.
Only reason I sold it was to upgrade to a 94 unibuilt cab for a better ride. Then later I upgraded to a 2003 6NZ with pete low air ride.
The 88 was the truck I loved, bought it new, I knew every thing about that truck from 0 miles to 2 million, every nut and bolt every shot of grease.
I wish that was the truck I still had when I sold out and retired in 2016. I would have retired with a lot more money in my pocket.Tug Toy, beastr123, Diesel Dave and 2 others Thank this. -
