    It was the precursor to the "800" number. Actually, called the WATS line, Wide Area Telephone Service, and didn't need an operator. We used to run like hell, call the boss on the WATS line from home, before caller ID, and say we ran into trouble, going to be a few days, and took time off. Can't do that today.

    You don't need IFTA to pull intrastate loads so make some TX money. Get both boards if that's going to be some source of loads (terrible what to start imo). Get signed up with LS. Pull from some of your old agents. Set up load alerts on Landstaronline. At least you'll have some familiarity there. You can set up Savings Plus and use their fuel card as well. I use Amazons Comdata myself. Cost plus TA/Petro and .40 off at Loves. It is also credit based so I do t have to pull a load to get funds on it. I've never pulled an Amazon load.
