I pack ziplock bags of homage meals in freezer. 1st 3 days out meals in fridge. Long storage meals in fridge ie. jack Daniels brisket from Walmart, eggs, cheese, hotdogs, tortellini, and such. Microwaveable rice, noodles, bagels, bacon, canned vegetables, and such in totes. Hot water boiler boils for grits and pour over coffee. I can stay out 3 weeks without a resupply and eat well. Just takes space saving ingenuity and some low wattage appliances. Microwaveable egg trays and such help out to make breakfast sandwhiches.

get a mini fridge, get a nuclear reactor, get tv dinners, take along his own food, take along a camping toilet, and toilet paper.

    replenish at nearly any walmart.

It's smart to build truck stops downhill. That way if the driver runs out of fuel, he can still coast in.

Of course that does expose you to drivers who've burned their brakes up and crash into the truck stop.

    Six of one...

When you can't compete with a 300 dollar check you shouldn't be in business.

    Take your own food.

I don’t drive a big truck anymore , but I do get paid handsomely to travel around in a crew cab F250 loaded with tools and repair water treatment systems .
Some of my Job sites are miles from anywhere. And I never know until I arrive and do some detective work, how long it’s gonna take to get it running again.

you never know when you’re gonna get stranded at a shipper or on the side of the road with a breakdown or storm or road closure.
I get a rotisserie chicken at a grocery store and pick all the meat off, and put it in meal size portions in sandwich bags.
That and a box of saltines or ritz crackers, some carrots ( I get the whole carrots and Peel them , I hate the pre peeled tiny ones, they taste funny and get slimy quick in the fridge). and a Dr Pepper is a meal . I also use a English muffin with peanut butter and a sliced banana for a cheap nutritious breakfast that will stick with you till lunch.

I also carry several boxes of my favorite granola bars.

oh and get the small travel size packs of baby wipes.
Or take the half used roll of TP from the home bathroom, pull out the cardboard tube , and fold the roll.
Slip that in my pocket ever time I go into a public rest room just in case they don’t have TP.
Using your pocket knife to cut off the top half of your socks for TP is zero fun. works if you have no other alternative.

Yeah l only stop at those places for fuel. I have a dorm fridge l keep stocked from Sam's Club and Walmart. I get Crystal Springs 5 gallon water bottles with an electric small pump that fits on the bottle for making my sugar free Kool Aid l sweeten with Stevia drops. I also have a Frigidaire compact ice maker.

As for the head l removed the stock truck fridge and have a Thetford Porta Potti with electric flush l slide back in the cabinet where the fridge was. Highly recommend because many times shippers and receivers they have no facilities. Also what the OP said about these chain truck stops. If l am going to be out here l am going to be comfortable!
