    I think that is a great idea.

    it is good looking and a good idea, but I will constructively critizise with this: in the winters salt would rot the spring in the hook's latch, making it go bad or hardening and breaking so the clip would become bad and not working no more. you'll have to regularly spray them with holly water {WD-40}
    the clip is a great idea given any broken bungees will remain hooked and not shoot off to your face, a neighbor or a happy DOT officer doing an inspection on your rig on the side of the road.
    for those 200 dollars extra i'd buy myself 4 BOXES of bungees! i'd have bungees for years to come! My tarps would never tear!

    on the PIPE IDEA: that is a waste of time, think winter when bungees freeze and won't go back to they "compressed" state, you'll have to still throw them in a bucket or a box!

    Another thought... Some of those carabiners are just for key rings etc... What is their load bearing? Ones for Rock climbing would have the strength, but the cost would be prohibitive.

    As strong as they look, ive seen more than a few break just being loaded up with keys over time. Im sure there must be an industrial grade. Just my 2 cents.

    you're right, we all have to come up with ways to up-set our ways and become more productive and comfortable while at work. it is such a great idea in a mild to hot weather, unfortunately the winter takes it away

    this sounds like it could get costly rather quick. I too have seen them break from "holding keys"

    They claim to be rated for 150 lbs. Lucar I agree with you on the salt being hard on them and having lube them a lot. But I have had a few that I either lost my grip or break and go zinging twords my face or away in someone else's direction. Were coming out of winter soon so I will find out if they last
