Crete is offering 47cpm where Bay &Bay only 40 but b&b has fridge in truck and some other perks. I don't know too much about Bay & Bay. Crete sounds like the better deal. I'm coming from J&R Schugel which is a good company but making a switch for my own good reasons. If anybody has any input about these two companies please let me know.

Crete has over 5000 trucks, bay & bay less than 500. I don’t have experiance with either one, but I would think the smaller company would treat you more like a person. That would be more appealing to me, but that’s just my opinion.

dollar for dollar, pound for pound, B&B may be the better choice, and here is why, the other poster said that Crete has like 5,000 trucks...that (to me) means you're gonna sit a while till they find you a load.

no, this DOES NOT MEAN that with B&B you will not be sitting (in between loads) but the chances are you won;t do much of it overall.

best of luck to you, let us know where you end up going, to either one, or yet some other company.

but you can be a senior driver, or one that hustles. i had a job (they went and merged with another company, so i left, shortly after that merger), i told them straight out, "i am here to work, or i'm gone"

but it wasn't as large as Crete.

I have a few friends driving for Crete and they all stay running.....one has been with them 15+ years AFTER selling his truck. I ran for HUNT several years back and they dang near ran me to death(legally of course). Solid company ZERO debt and a pretty darn good bennie package. I do agree with the smaller company treating you more like a person though.

Crete is the better place everybody I've talked to said they are making money there but it's my opinion.

More to it than just CPM. Do either offer accessory pay? Detention, breakdown, layover?

Where will you be running. You can go broke even making .65cpm if it's in the Northeast.

Who has better benefits, hometime, insurance, paid time off, vacation? Remember there is supposedly a so called "driver shortage" use it to your advantage
