Trying to figure out what fuel card is the best

    I'm O/O for Celadon, we are using Comdata, the only discount we get is 5 cents/gal from Pilots/FlyingJ

    nastc is an association. You pay $250/yr to be a member and then have access to their services. One of those services is the fuel card. It is a Fleet One card for their fuel program. Fees are better than comparables. No swipe fee for fueling in network (the only way to get their discount). Lots of stops to use and an online tool for current pricing for trip planning. I'm saving about $300-400/mo on two trucks off of my previous method of shopping lowest cash price. If you go by their listed discount, which is mainly at NOT the lowest cash price places, it looks even better on paper.

    Worth noting that Fleet One, Comdata, and the others issue many different cards to many different fuel programs. You can't just compare the card vendors. They will all have a direct offer, which is usually nowhere near as good as one through another fuel program like a carrier or association like nastc.
